Rotating Whipstream Nozzle Permanently Reduced by 55% and 2008 prices maintained to 1st March

Price Reduction

Following a succesful promotion, Triventek is very pleased to make permanent a massive price reduction for the Rotating Whipstream Nozzle. The equipment is reduced by 55%.

All other prices are to be frozen at 2008 levels until 1st March 2009

The Rotating Whipstream Nozzle is an extremely useful tool for the professional duct cleaner who wants to clean productively, professionally and profitably.

Cleans riser ducts by pulsing

The nozzle works by rotating a disc at approximately 12,000 rpm to pulse air jets out to the duct surface up to 1000mm distant from the nozzle. This means that the tool is perfect for riser (vertical) ducts up to 2000mm in cross-section.

At these sizes, other methods of cleaning, such as Ductcleaner rotary brush, or the Tornado nozzle (which 'sticks' to the duct surface to give it's cleaning effect) are less effective because the brush or head tends to pull away from the duct wall. The Rotating Whipstream Nozzle overcomes this by effectively centering itself, and sending out aggressive pulses of compressed air. The pulses sound like an attack helicopter and will blast the dust off the duct wall to be collected by Jetvent Extractor equipment.

The nozzle can be entered into the duct via a small access hole (<60mm diameter) or can often be inserted via a branch duct. It can clean up to 25 metres of riser duct, typically 6 floors, in one pass - which makes for very productive working.

Normally it is lowered down a duct from top to bottom, but it also has a hole in its nose so that a rope or cable can be used to pull the nozzle up a riser. In some circumstances the nozzle can be pulled horizontally, providing that the cable and hose can be kept tight.

Can be mounted on a TDB Robot

Futhermore an adapted version of the Rotating Whipstream Nozzle can be mounted on the multi-purpose TDB robot for work in larger horizontal ducts. This gives a flexible solution to the problem of how to clean larger air ducts when it is not possible or desirable to have a person crawl in to do the work.

With the greatly reduced price there really is no excuse now for duct cleaners not to include the Rotating Whipstream in their armoury of tools. Contact your local distributor for more details
