Triventek Vacuum Test Sampling Pump
The Triventek Vacuum Test Kit to carry out filter measurements of surface dust in ductwork. This allows people to objectively measure when a duct needs cleaning, and to measure and prove cleanliness after cleaning.
The Triventek Vacuum Test sampling kit is used with precision sampling filters to objectively measure dust on duct surfaces according to the following protocols:
EU prEN 15780 Ventilation for buildings - Ductwork - Cleanliness of ventilation systems
National Air Duct Cleaners Association ACR 2005: Assessment, Cleaning and Restoration of HVAC Systems.
Heating and Ventilation Contractors Association Guide to Good Practice TR19: ‘Internal Cleanliness of Ventilation Systems’
The filter sampling method provides reliable measurements of the weight of dust on a known area of duct surface, usually expressed in g/m2. Dust is vacuumed up onto 0.8µm pore-size filters for precision weighing in a laboratory. See protocols for details.
The measurement is used to objectively assess whether a system is dirty and needs cleaning.
After cleaning, the test is used to define whether the work was successful. A sensible service provider will offer to work to a measurable benchmark and so avoid unrealistic, informal ‘white glove’ testing.
The sampling kit provides all the tools to carry out onsite sampling
Tough, high volume (10litres/min) sampling pump
Flow measurement tube and bench stand tube for calibration
Mains charger and long-lasting battery gives up to 8 hours continuously between charges, more than enough for a week of typical sampling.
Complete with an sample template, , 4m flexible tubing and file holder for recording purposes, all in neat attaché case
