Triventek Bio-Blocks to stop microbes
- Triventek Bio-Block (TBB) is the ongoing maintenance solution to
- Microbiological contamination of wet parts of systems
- Musty odours caused by bacterial slime accumulation
- Clogged condensate drains
- Corrosion of drain pan
- Legionella hazard
The Triventek Bio-Block is a timed-release biocide product that sits weighted in the condensate drip pans/trays of HVAC units, coolers and freezers etc. TBB works for three months, eliminating bacteria and slime that lead to health, maintenance and performance problems.
- Combats a broad spectrum of harmful bacteria
- Laboratory proven 99% kill of Legionnaire’s Disease bacteria
- Ph neutralizers help protect drain pan against corrosion
- 3 to 6 months, 24 hours/day service life in all climates
- Sealed, tamper proof housing prevents skin contact with biocide
- Filter material meters biocide for consistent chemical release
- Water saturated filter and weight prevent flotation
- Designed not to clog drain hole
- Can be placed vertically or horizontally
Works in equipment of all sizes
TBB Blocks are used to control microbial contamination, odour, health risks and potential for clogging and flooding drains in:
AHUs * Fan-Coil Units * Split A/C Units * Steam Humidifier Sections * Display Cases * Beverage and Grocery Reach-In Coolers * Refrigerated Vending Machines * Cold Storage Walk-Ins* -anywhere where water can accumulate and become dirty.
TBB45: 216L x 56W x 32H for up to 158kW cooling (typically 16m3/sec)
TBB15: 92L x 70W x 23H for up to 53kW cooling (typically 5.5 m3/sec)
TBB5S: 165L x 38W x 8H for up to 18kW cooling (typically 2 m3/sec). Strip for low profile drain pans
TBB5: 70L x 57W x 13H for up to 18kW cooling (typically 2 m3/sec)
TBB units can be added together for larger cooling capacity systems
TBB is US EPA-registered (EPA #33427-4), lab-tested and proven to kill 99% of Legionella bacteria (cause of Legionnaire’s Disease). It s use is permitted under the EU Biocidal Products Directive transitional arrangements.
The product was originally designed to avoid clogging and flooding of drain trays and has been in use since 1972.
Use biocides safely. Always read the label and product information before use
